Crytek have just released their latest engine, the CryEngine 3 that is intended to work on the 7th generation consoles, the PS3 and Xbox 360. The amazing thing about the engine is that you make the game once and it does it for the PS3 and the Xbox 360.
Yes, that means that you don’t have to be a PS3 Guru in order to use the engine to build your game for the PS3 platform, it’s easy as they call it: What You See Is What You Play (WYSIWYP).
So the CryEngine3 is great deal for developers whom want to build a great game with great graphics and that can work on these two platforms, and since this is CryTek’s first attempt to enter consoles world we expect a lot!
